Our ethos

A

Why We Exist

Artificial intelligence has progressed rapidly over the past several decades, moving from academic theory to a central force in how we work, communicate, and interact with technology. We've moved from early conversational systems to modern generative models, and now, AI has become deeply embedded in products that shape everyday life. Yet as these systems grow in power and complexity, they often struggle to connect meaningfully with the people who use them.

We believe this is not just a technical challenge, but a design one. Human Intervention exists to help make AI human-centered. We work with teams building intelligent products and guide them toward solutions that are not only functional, but also clear, respectful, and aligned with real human needs. Our role is to bring the human perspective into the development process so that what gets built serves people as well as systems.

What We Solve

AI products often fall short at the point of interaction. Interfaces may feel opaque, with unclear system behavior, limited feedback, or a lack of visibility into how outputs are generated. Users are left uncertain about what the system understands, how it arrived at a result, or how much they can rely on it. These breakdowns in trust, transparency, and usability reduce the value of even the most advanced models.

We help teams solve these kinds of design problems across a wide range of AI-powered tools. In a medical consultation product, for example, it is not enough to include a warning that the AI may be wrong. A user needs to see confidence levels, understand the underlying sources, and know when uncertainty is high. In other cases like financial automation, image-based diagnostics, or content ranking, people need better mental models, clearer system boundaries, and feedback that helps them make informed decisions. These are not just engineering issues. They are design challenges. Our work makes AI more understandable, more usable, and more human in the way it is experienced.
